Hannelore Chambers (President, Fundraising committee) After working 12 years in international corporate finance, most recently as a team leader and deal closer for a large European bank, she became a stay-at-home mother to her two young sons. During many family road trips across the country, she discovered through the joyful play of her young boys the incredible diversity and innovation that exist in playground design today. She began to dream and research how to help her community create an engaging, outdoor space that will captivate their children’s imaginations and senses as profoundly as some of the other playgrounds her family has visited have. She looks forward to collaborating with her fellow committee members and using her project management skills and creativity to organize community members to create a truly vibrant playground space, exciting and challenging to all children.
